Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GED Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, particularly in preparing students for the GED (General Educational Development) exam. As a GED Science Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cover a range of science topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. You will work closely with students to help them develop the knowledge and skills needed to pass the GED Science test.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with GED Science test objectives
- Provide instruction in various science subjects, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science
- Assess student learning needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students
- Stay current on developments in science education and incorporate new teaching strategies and technologies as appropriate
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in science education, biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience teaching science, preferably to GED or IGCSE students
- Strong knowledge of GED Science test content and objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve academic success
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Experience with educational technology and online learning platforms such as Moodle
- Valid teaching certification/license
